Philip Buchanan Sr. is the founder and CEO of Solved IT, a New York-based managed IT and physical security company serving small and mid-sized businesses across tri-state area. With 26 years in the technology industry, Phil built Solved IT on a straightforward conviction: that businesses in this community deserved a technology partner with the same depth and accountability that enterprise companies take for granted — without the enterprise price tag or the enterprise runaround.
Under Phil’s leadership, Solved IT has grown from a managed IT practice into a full-service technology partner covering managed IT, cybersecurity and compliance, structured cabling and infrastructure, physical security systems, and smart sensing technology. He oversees the company’s strategic direction, client relationships, and the credential standards the team is held to.
Phil is a New York native and is invested in the businesses and people that make this community work — the law firms, medical practices, financial advisors, and growing companies that his team serves every day. His approach to client relationships is the same as his approach to running the company: show up, tell the truth, and own the outcome.
