THE CHALLENGE
Ethic took over a new office at 99 Hudson Street: about 65,000 square feet across two floors plus a rooftop deck, with no existing network equipment and no in-house IT staff. Everything a modern investment firm depends on had to be designed, installed and working before the team moved in: Wi-Fi across both floors and the roof, fast and redundant internet, and conference rooms where video meetings simply work.
WHAT SOLVED IT DID
Wi-Fi 7 everywhere, including outdoors
We designed and installed a complete UniFi Wi-Fi 7 network with more than 35 access points across both floors and the rooftop deck, with outdoor-rated units on the roof.
A 10G-ready core with no single point of failure
Two security gateways in a high-availability pair, 10G PoE Layer 2 switching, and two separate fiber internet providers, so the office stays online even if one carrier goes down.
Ten Zoom Rooms, ready on day one
We designed and installed 10 Logitech Zoom Room systems, each with a scheduling panel outside the door so staff can see availability and book rooms at a glance.
Smart reuse to control cost
Wherever the building’s existing Cat 6 cabling was sound, we reused it instead of re-pulling, which cut cost without compromising the network.
Done in about three weeks
From an empty space to a fully working office in roughly three weeks.
